Jackie Wade Named All-NESCAC for Connecticut College

NEW LONDON, Conn.--Connecticut College senior forward Jackie Wade of Medfield, Massachusetts has been named to the All-New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) women´s soccer team. MEDFORD, Mass.-- The Tufts University women´s soccer (12-3) team erupted with three goals in the opening 25:07 of play and went on to defeat Connecticut College 6-0 in a first round match-up of the 2007 NESCAC Women´s Soccer Championship Tournament played at Kraft Field. Cara Cadigan contributed two goals and Ali Maxwell had a goal and an assist for the second seeded Jumbos, who will meet #4 Bowdoin in a semifinal at Williams College Saturday.  more...

Camels-Jumbos Will Play Sunday at Tufts in First Round of NESCAC Playoffs

NEW LONDON, Conn.--Tufts University (11-3, 7-2) defeated Connecticut College (5-8-1) 3-2 in the regular season finale for both clubs on Harkness Green Saturday. The Jumbos locked up the #2 seed in the 2007 NESCAC Championship Tournament and will host #7 Connecticut College for a noon-time match up in Medford Sunday.
