As the original home of the American Dance Festival, a founding partner of the Eugene O’Neill Center’s National Theater Institute, and the site of a widely recognized biennial symposium on arts and technology, the College has a full suite of programs in the performing arts, including onStage, a professional performance series filled with world-class music, dance and theater, presented by artists from a wide spectrum of cultural and creative backgrounds and perspectives. It is unique, eclectic and innovative programming designed to engage, entertain and inspire.

At the heart of Conn’s culture of performing arts are The Athey Center for Performance and Research at Palmer Auditorium and Tansill Theater. The College also hosts, through the Ammerman Center, a Biennial Symposium for Arts and Technology, that creates a forum for multi-disciplinary dialogue at the intersection of arts, technology and contemporary culture. The symposium brings artists and researchers from a wide range of fields together to engage, interact and share ideas as they present new works, research and performances in a variety of formats.
