Students with unpaid bills are not eligible to participate in the housing lottery or pre-registration/registration for the subsequent semester, nor will the College issue diplomas or official transcripts for students whose accounts remain outstanding. In the event that a student account is delinquent, the account may be placed with a collection agency or an attorney for collection.

The student is responsible for paying any and all costs and expenses, including costs of collection, attorneys’ fees and expenses and court costs, incurred in collecting the delinquent student account. Fees of any collection agency used to collect any payments due may be based on a percentage of up to 33 1/3 of the delinquent amount, or the maximum allowable by law.

Collection agencies, outside counsel, or other agents may contact students in connection with any and all matters relating to delinquent accounts, and such contact may be made to any mailing address, telephone number, cellular phone number, email address, or any other electronic address that has been provided, or may in the future be provided, to the College. The college and/or its outside collection agencies, outside counsel or other agents may use, among other methods, prerecorded or artificial voice messages delivered by an automatic telephone dialing system, pre-set email messages delivered by an automatic emailing system, or any other pre-set electronic messages delivered by any other automatic electronic messaging system.
