Early Decision I

If you’re sure Conn is the college for you, applying Early Decision allows our admission committee to factor in your commitment to Conn when they are reviewing your application. You may also have a competitive advantage given our record number of applications in recent years. And you’ll receive the same consideration for merit and financial aid as every other applicant.

  • Deadline: Nov. 15
  • Decision Release: Mid-December

Early Decision II

We also offer an Early Decision II option, which gives you an additional two months to complete your application but offers the same benefits as Early Decision I: a competitive advantage over students applying Regular Decision due to your demonstrated commitment. Learn more.

  • Deadline: Jan. 15
  • Decision Release: Mid-February

Regular Decision

Regular Decision is the most common application round, for good reason: Not everyone knows without a doubt where what college they’d like to attend. Regular Decision allows you to apply at other schools and assess your offers when they arrive.

  • Deadline: Jan. 15
  • Decision Release: Early March

We’re delighted that you’re thinking of applying to Connecticut College!

We’ve tried to make it simple to apply: We use the Common Application, we don’t require a supplemental essay or an application fee, and we’re test-optional with a no-harm test policy.

Take some time to look over the information on this page to learn about our application process. And know that if you apply, a human will read your application thoroughly. We don’t use AI to scan it for four seconds and determine whether you’d be a good fit. Our admission counselors do a holistic review of each application we receive because—surprise!—everyone is different.

So without further ado …
