Relax, Connect & Gather

The Connecticut College dining experience is an essential part of the campus experience and identity. We are excited to bring an enhanced and authentic dining experience through a three-pronged approach: better atmosphere, authentic food and engaging dining events.

A newly transformed space with a variety of seating and dining hubs, Social House at Harris Refectory will now provide the Conn College student the space to relax, connect and gather.

Options to Dine-in & Dine-out

Our retail space Oasis will offer fresh, made-to-order options, as well as an expanded retail market with a wide selection of grab-and-go items to choose from. Humphrey's Pub will not only offer traditional pub-style food and drinks, but will now include additional local items on tap, cold brew and mocktails.

Our Limited Time Offers (LTOs) program is designed to offer the Conn College student delicious and innovative dishes on a rotating basis, adding variety to their daily menu options.

Building Community around Food

To continue delivering our promise of excellence and fostering engagement throughout the academic year, we will host events like JoyFul, a national campaign aimed at welcoming new and returning students to campus by spreading JOY and creating a sense of community around food. In addition, we have our Love, Chartwells events that meet the Conn College student where they are, showing them that we care, and providing them the opportunity to create memories that will last a lifetime.

Social House

The menus in Social House at Harris Refectory will feature high-quality, scratch-made, healthy cuisine options designed to nourish and fuel Conn College's high-achieving students and athletes. Including stations like Rooted, our dedicated vegetarian station, Delicious Without, our allergen-free zone, and others including Flour & Sauce where students can grab a slice or few of their favore pizza. We will also offer the Grill to grab a veggie burger and fries, a Deli station where you can select from plenty of fresh options for your made-to-order sandwich, and the Performance Kitchen offering clean and lean dishes, giving the Conn College student plenty of unique dining options. By utilizing technology like mobile ordering and kiosks to decrease lines and wait times, students have more time to enjoy Social House at Harris Refectory and relax between classes.
