The Digital Scholarship and Curriculum Center (DSCC), established in 2001 with a grant from The Keel Foundation, is located in the Technology Commons on the lower level of Shain Library (room A-29). Assistant Director for Digital Scholarship Lyndsay Bratton supports digital scholarship, including organizing, advising, and documenting digital research projects by faculty and students. You can view our online digital scholarship projects here. If you need to use the Center at a specific time, or need assistance with your project, contact Lyndsay.

The DSCC staff, along with the rest of the Research Support and Curricular Technology team, support the Diane Y. Williams '59 Visualization Wall, the Recording Studio (Shain 309), the Kaltura video hosting platform (including MediaSpace), and the evaluation and use of podcasting, ArcGIS mapping, wikis, web publishing in WordPress and Pressbooks, and other digital technologies for use in teaching and scholarship.

Instruction and support on the use of the equipment and technology in the DSCC and the Recording Studio is provided as needed throughout production. Email teachtech@conncoll.edu for support. Instructional Technologist Gerard Gadigian can provide in-class training for courses that will be using Audacity, iMovie, Adobe Premiere, or other audio/video editing software for course projects. Part-time DS student assistants may be available to work on digital scholarship and GIS projects for faculty during the academic year.
