Connecticut College dancers to perform 'Swan Lake' in fall concert Dec. 11 and 12

NEW LONDON, Conn. - More than 40 Connecticut College dancers will perform choreographed works by dance professors Shani Collins, David Dorfman, Heidi Henderson and Adele Myers in the Dance Department's Fall Concert Dec. 11 and 12 at 7:30 p.m. in Palmer Auditorium. The evening's program will also include a modernized version of "Swan Lake" by distinguished guest artist Robyne Watkin, a piece by guest artist Monica Bill Barnes and student-choreographed works by Lily Ockwell '10 and Liz Young '10. The students' pieces will also be performed at the 2010 American College Dance Festival Association's New England Region Conference at Boston University Feb. 10 - 14.
