52 named to NESCAC Spring All-Academic team

An All-American water polo player, 12 members of the women’s track and field team, and one senior who completed a sweep of all three NESCAC honors were among the 52 Connecticut College scholar-athletes to be named to the 2019 NESCAC Spring All-Academic team.

To be honored, an individual must have reached sophomore academic standing and be in good standing on their team with a cumulative grade point average of at least a 3.50. A transfer student must have completed at least one year of study at the institution.

Of the 52 scholar-athletes honored, 24 were recognized for the second time in their careers, while three were recognized for the third time. Five scholar-athletes were named to the All-Sportsmanship team. Women’s lacrosse’s Jamie Navoni ’19 was named to the All-NESCAC team, and women’s outdoor track and field’s Shannon Kennedy ’19 was named to the All-NESCAC, All-Sportsmanship and All-Academic teams—making her one of only 13 across the conference to be honored in all three categories. For a full list of all honorees, visit NESCAC.com.
