The Office of Communications oversees College communications with a primary goal of enhancing the College's national reputation. We direct and create communications that support and advance the College's strategic goals.

Through the public website, print publications and electronic communications, the Communications staff provide news and information to the media, prospective and current students, parents, alumni, faculty, staff, trustees, donors and other friends of the College.

We are actively taking advantage of new media, social networking and the evolving communications environment to advance the College. You can follow the College on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

The Office of Communications has created a system of graphic standards and visual identity that unify the College's communications, and our editorial style guide outlines common style, spelling, grammar and usage issues. Together these guidelines serve to support the quality and consistency of the Connecticut College image and reputation. We encourage their use by all members of the College community.

"How to Plan Your On-Campus Event" is an easy-to-follow guide for campus groups and organizations to promote their campus events to the College community and the general public.
