My project is a mergence of my art honors thesis with my senior project for the Ammerman Center for Arts and Technology. Consisting of both watercolor paintings and video installation, this work exemplifies how analog and digital mediums can unite to more deeply understand a subject. My interest involves language as a female gendered subject. In this work, I investigate women’s unexpressed wants and desires, questioning the ways in which language relates to our gendered social reality.
