Project/Mission Statement
This piece explores the relationship between a person and their biological response to music, lights, and images. Through the use of heart rate, a system develops a specific 3-minute piece that is meant to represent a brand-new showcase. Each performance is composed of unique animations, images, and minute-long musical pieces that have never been performed outside of the experience. Emotions, physical responses, and musical taste are part of each personal performance. The user works as a system, controlling the music and acting as their own DJ.
